2013 Bonnie and Clyde (Star Service)
HISTORICAL FACTS:
1. Bonnie and Clyde met in west Dallas.
2. Clyde Barrow’s parents opened a gas station while Clyde was in prison, (prior to his killing spree with Bonnie Parker.)
3. This gas station stood in west Dallas until April 2022.
Upon its demolition, I was contacted by the editor of DMagazine to write a feature story on my experience gathering the mythology and marks of this old gas station for my artwork.
